I love knitting, nature, the ocean, outdoor adventure, healthy eating, cats and a little zen.

I knit for family, friends and seasonal craft fairs, using patterns, designers and yarns that inspire me.  I use quality yarns, usually a merino wool or wool blend with alpaca or silk, often from local artisan dyers.

My niece, Melanie Phillips (melaniephillips242 on instagram), painted the Knapknits business card image and my granddaughter named all of the little animals.  I buy the yarn and do the knitting, but my family provides encouragement, so they too, are a vital part of knapknits.
